Accommodation Policy, Rules & Additional Information

This is a boutique farm stay located in a rural area and not a hotel. Please treat this like a home rather than a hotel.

6 Tamarind can accommodate 8 guests as a part of the agreed tariff which includes 4 adults, an addition of 4 children till the age of 8 are also allowed and will be provided with extra bedding. Any child above 8 years of age will be considered as an adult and will be charged at Rs. 1000/- per person for the stay. As exceptions 6Tamarind can at best accommodate an additional 6 adults and will be charged Rs. 1000 /- per person and will provide extra bedding.

At 6Tamarind we have two bedrooms with attach bathroom, to make your stay comfortable and convenient we will not be able to accommodate more than 10 people.

  1. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.
  2. Once booking is confirmed cancellations will be considered only 7days in advance of the Booking dates
  3. Please carry valid Id proof at the time of Check in. This is mandatory.
  4. Check-In time is 2:00 pm and Check-Out time is 11:00 am.
  5. Breakfast – 8.00 AM- 10.00 AM
  6. Late Check-out until 11:30 am at no additional cost and will be strictly on availability.
  7. Check-out beyond 11:30 am will be chargeable @ Rs. 2,000/- per hour up to 5:00 pm maximum after this half day charges will be applicable. Extension will be allowed strictly on the basis of availability.
  8. Pets are allowed only with prior permission. And Pets will not be allowed inside the house / enclosed areas. 6Tamarind also has their own canines therefore guest are required to inform in advance so that we can make arrangements to keep our canine in their enclosures.

Photo ID is mandatory on check-in.

Pets are allowed only with prior permission.

Housekeeping service is complimentary.

NO SMOKING in any of the rooms or enclosed areas.


Book your Meals:

We have our kitchen at 6TAmarind and a restaurant Café Imlee that serves Indian and Chinese cuisine. You can pre book you meals. If you are booking you meals you will have to confirm two days in advance and make the necessary payment in advance through QR code provided on the website. Please remember that this is a small village, and the arrangements needs to be done in advance.

The cost of meals will be 1800 per person for an adult and 1000 per child below the age of 8years and will include Lunch, hi-tea, Dinner and the next day breakfast.

You may also choose to have only Breakfast which will be charged at Rs. 300 per person. For any meals the payment has to be made in advance through QR code provided on the website

Please Note

  • Please note that this is a farm stay. There are animals, insects, and bugs in the area. Though the property is kept very clean, guests must carry mosquito repellent etc. Also, there is fluctuation of power in this area though there is an inverter back up to ensure your comfort.
  • We have inverter back up, so don’t panic if the lights go out, the Inverter takes up the supply of power immediately it is common in this area. Kindly use minimum lights and fan during this time until the electricity supply is restored.
  • Please switch off lights, geysers, and air-conditioning if you are leaving your room. It takes a lot of time and energy to maintain, and it would greatly appreciated if you can help us.
  • Pease help converse water by using water efficiently during your stay here.
  • Please switch off the lights in the verandah of the main villa before going to bed
  • All breakages and damage will be billed, and late check-out is chargeable.
  • Guests are free to get their own alcohol, if they have a permit. No corkage charged.
  • All bathrooms are equipped with hot water boilers, please switch on the boiler at least 10 mins prior to your shower & please do not forget to switch off the boiler after your shower.
  • We have a speaker that can be connected via Bluetooth. Feel free to enjoy music without causing any inconvenience to the neighborhood.
  • Please strive to preserve the cleanliness of the property. Holi colors are not allowed in the property.
  • The staff will not be available post 11 PM at night for any services.

Liability:

  1. The maximum risk to the extent permitted by law arising out of access and use or any stay by the Guest at any Accommodation, participation in any Experience or Event or use of any other Host Service or any other interaction that the Guest have with other person whether in person or online shall be upon himself and not 6Tamarind. Neither 6Tamarind nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the services will be liable for any incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data or loss of goodwill, service interruption, computer damage or system failure or the cost of substitute products or services, or for any damages for personal or bodily injury or emotional distress arising out of or in connection with (i) these Terms, (ii) from the use of or inability to use the property, (iii) from any communications, interactions or meetings with other persons with whom you communicate, interact or meet with as a result of your use of the services of 6Tamarind rooms.
  2. Inverter backups are provided at 6Tamarind properties in case of electricity failure to let the guests stay not be hampered. However, inverter backups last depending on usability of electric items by the client.Kindly note, electricity in most of the tourist towns is provided by the government and not private players, hence restoration of the same takes longer than usual city power cuts. 6Tamarind will not be held liable for any power cut outs and no refund will be provided to the client for the same, as it’s out of the control of 6Tamarind..
  3. Guests shall at all given times take responsibility for keeping their luggage/valuables and all personal belongings in a locked cupboard and the loss or damage of any item left unattended will not be the liability or responsibility of 6Tamarind.
  4. Guests shall make sure their cars are aptly parked in the designated parking areas avoiding any hindrance to other cars in the vicinity. The parking of cars will be solely at the owner’s risk and 6Tamarind does not accept any damage or responsibility for any such accidents or losses.
  5. 6Tamarind property is close to nature and hence mosquitoes/insects/pests may be spotted more often than natural, 6Tamarind requests all its guests to make sure to shut all doors and windows at sunset to avoid such insects/pests from entering the property. The trespassing of pests/insects into an 6Tamarind property isn’t a liability of 6Tamarind and no refund will be provided by 6Tamarind. However, the ground team of 6Tamarind shall be notified in case of any such incident and necessary steps/actions will be taken to get rid of the insects/pests.
  6. Wi-if network fluctuations may take place due to various unforeseen reasons &6Tamarind holds no control over the same. However, our ground team on being informed by the guests will reach out to the network provider to resolve the issue at the earliest. No refunds will be provided in such a case irrespective.
BASIC HOUSE RULES

The following are prohibited at 6TAMARIND:

  1. We do not allow smoking of any kind inside the property (Veranda or terraces or garden are permitted areas only for Smoking normal cigarettes permissible under law), including but not limited to nicotine, tobacco derived products and/or cannabis derived substances of abuse (including vaping and e-cigarettes); breaking this rule will incur a INR 2500 fine; and the Management personal is fully authorized to intimate the Law Enforcementofficiersfor actions
  2. DJ Parties or events.
  3. Unreasonable numbers of guests including any that exceed the maximum permitted by 6Tamarind;
  4. Number of overnight guests cannot exceed the maximum allowed for the unit; this information is posted on the website.
  5. Excessive noise (in the form of yelling/shouting or music);
  6. Audible noise outside of the property after 10:30 pm local time.
  7. Disturbing neighbors or invading their privacy or security.
  8. Illegal substances or activity (e.g., involving drugs, the Internet, or Gambling or otherwise, including illegal downloads or file sharing whether using our, your own, or a third-party device or Internet connection);
  9. Pornography production or prostitution.
  10. Dangerous or hazardous items (e.g., those that may increase the risk of fire or explosion such as candles or lighters or firecrackers);
  11. Firearms and other weapons (except those rightfully possessed by on-duty or off-duty law enforcement officials or licensed security guards);
  12. Placing obstructions, signage, garbage, food, or personal items unattended outside the property.
  13. Creating unsanitary conditions (e.g., generating excessive trash or vomiting in the property or on any linens or offensive odors, or throwing food all around the property or attracting pests).
  14. Making any change, modification, alteration, or addition whatsoever to the property or its contents (including moving furniture around);
  15. Soliciting or loitering around the space or building.
  16. Commercial photography, film, or videography (without expressed written consent);
  17. Using the property for any purpose other than for personal accommodation.

OTHER

  1. Zero tolerance. Please ensure that you respect all members of staff and your fellow residents. 6Tamarind is a safe and friendly environment where everybody should be treated with the same level of respect. In accordance with our non-discrimination and harassment policy, we have zero tolerance for racism, sexism, discrimination, intimidation, or violence to any kind.
  2. You may permit guests to occupy the property during your stay only to the extent authorized by us in writing and you must accompany and supervise such guests at all times. If you exceed any applicable maximum authorized number of overnight guests, then you will be liable to pay additional fees of up to 100% of your effective daily rate for each unauthorized guest and we may revoke or terminate your license to occupy the property immediately. You also acknowledge and agree that we may require you and/or your daytime guests to provide us with documentation verifying your guests’ identity such as passport and other information.
  3. Although we are pet friendly at 6Tamarind, guests must inform our team in advance about bringing pets to the property.We do not allow pets inside our enclosed premises & violation of our pet policy results in a INR 10000 fine. Guests must ensure they scoop the poop of the pets and dispose of it aptly without creating any mess in the property. 6Tamarine has their own Canine and therefore it is important to inform so that the canines will be safely put in their enclosures to avoid any inconvenience.
  4. We provide an initial supply of consumable household supplies and toiletries.
  5. We also provide linens and kitchenware for your use during your stay. Any such items that are removed from the property will be charged to you in accordance with the 6Tamarind’s Terms.
  6. Only those amenities that are described in your booking confirmation email are available to you. Please follow any instructions that have been provided to you or may be posted on the property. Your use of any amenities is at your sole risk. Guests younger than 18 years must be accompanied by an adult when using any amenities and other common areas
  7. Parking options and instructions may be provided in our booking confirmation email to you. If you or your guests choose to make use of any recommended parking options, then you (and your guests, if applicable) must comply with all provided instructions, all publicly posted parking signs and policies, and any other applicable parking laws. 6Tamarind is not responsible for your or your guests’ non-compliance with such instructions, signs, policies, or laws.
  8. Safety and Security. You are responsible for your and your guests’ safety and security. Please read, listen to, and comply with any fire, health, or safety rules and regulations which are provided to you.
  9. Reporting Damage to the property. You must notify us in writing of any damage done to the property or any of its contents which occurs during your stay, even if you regard the damage as minimal or normal wear and tear, or if you do not believe the damage, is your fault. If you do not notify us of any such damage, you will be responsible for such damage in accordance with the 6Tamarind’s Term & the cost of repairing/replacing the damaged item will be deducted from your Security Deposit.
  10. There may be property management or other professionals affiliated with 6Tamarind located on-site.
    Please direct all of your requests and communications to them or at the contact information previously provided to you.
  11. Other Instructions. In connection with your stay at 6Tamarind, we may provide you with other written instructions applicable to your stay. These written instructions are “House Rules” as defined in 6Tamarind’s Terms. Please follow these instructions, ensure that your guests follow them too, and call us if you have any questions.
  12. As a reminder, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you and your guests are aware of and comply with the 6Tamarind’s Terms and these 6Tamarind’s Rules, including keeping the property clean and tidy and in the same condition as you found it. We hope you enjoy your stay!
